Trsteno Arboretum. Trsteno is a small settlement which is located only 24 kilometres (15 miles) north-west of Dubrovnik. It is easy to get there in some 20 minutes by one of the regular busses connecting Dubrovnik with the Dubrovnik coastland. This settlement hosts one of the oldest and most beautiful Arboretums in the whole region.

In an interview for HBO, 'Game of Thrones' star Conleth Hill confirmed that the exteriors of King’s Landing were filmed in Croatia white the interiors were filmed in Northern Ireland. However, the King’s Landing gates are in Malta and the road from the landing, the Dark Hedges, are in Northern Ireland.
